BetMGM, Tomorrow & talkSPORT: Transforming Sponsorships into Premier Partnerships
The Challenge
Launching alongside BetMGM's entry into the highly competitive UK gambling market in 2023, the brand needed to build a flagship partnership that could evolve year on year to meet growing business ambitions, moving well beyond traditional, transactional sponsor dynamics.
The Strategy
Managed by agency partner Tomorrow, BetMGM formed and maintained a key strategic partnership with talkSPORT, across radio, digital audio, podcast, social, video, and live broadcasting. The brand became the first official betting partner of talkSPORT's fastest-growing show, White and Jordan.
Execution and Innovation
Tomorrow and BetMGM worked closely with talkSPORT to enhance and extend the partnership for an additional two years. As talkSPORT transformed into a fully immersive multimedia platform, BetMGM's investment, particularly in video, was instrumental in accelerating that shift.
Results
The partnership grew from a one-year, radio-focused sponsorship into a multi-year, multi-platform relationship, with BetMGM helping reshape the traditional, transactional sponsor partner dynamic, to become natively and authentically integrated across talkSPORT’s entire content ecosystem.
