James Nesbitt

James Nesbitt is an award-winning TV and film actor with a career spanning over 25 years.  He shot to fame as Adam Williams in Cold Feet for which he won Best Actor at the British Comedy Awards. His TV roles include The Missing, Murphy’s Law, Line of Duty, the BAFTA award winning Occupation, The Secret and Lucky Man.

In 2021 James starred in the Netflix series, Stay Close, which topped the charts around the world, and he returned to our screens in 2022 with the second series of Jed Mercurio’s smash hit crime thriller, Bloodlands, on BBC One. Later that year James also starred in the Channel 4 miniseries, Suspect.

Previously, James has won Best Actor at the British Independent Film Awards for his lead role in Paul Greengrass’s film Bloody Sunday and more recently starred in Peter Jackson’s Hobbit trilogy. Starting his career on stage, James has appeared in numerous plays including Paddywack, Translations, As You Like It, Philadelphia Here I Come, Can’t Pay, Won’t Pay and Shoot The Crow.
