Who Can Enter?
Any of the following will be eligible to enter this year’s awards. Advertisers, Publishers, Media Owners, Agencies, Networks, Startups, Technology Providers or Individuals who operate in the Performance Marketing sector.
Entries can be made either directly to the company or through an authorised agent such as their network, agency or PR agency.
Entries for multiple categories may be submitted, however, each entry must be adapted to fit the requirements by using the category-specific entry from the entry kit templates.
Companies can be based anywhere in the world but submissions should only relate to activity within the UK and the eligibility period of 16 months prior to the Last Chance deadline of 13.04.21. This has been extended from the usual 12 months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Global Excellence award is the only exception where work can have been executed in any or multiple regions.
Any entries which have been submitted in previous years may not be submitted in 2021, unless you can clearly showcase considerable developments in the execution and results have occurred since the last time it was received. It cannot be a simple resubmission of the previous entry.
Withdrawing an Entry
An entry may be withdrawn for any reason up until the shortlist is announced upon written request; however the entry fee is non-refundable.
One of the biggest reasons for point deduction by judges is not including clear evidence of commercial success and ROI, which is especially problematic for an awards ceremony that has been geared around measurable marketing. More information and greater transparency will enable the judges to score you fairly.
To alleviate concerns, we require all judges to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), and they will not be able to judge a category that their company has entered. Any conflicts of interest are also challenged and disclosed before assigning them entries.
On average, judges will score between one and five categories based on their expertise. They do not have access to categories they are not allocated to judge.
Please mark and highlight anything that should not be disclosed by either our journalists or on screens during the ceremony with 'judges eyes only'.
Where stated that content cannot be marked as Judges Eyes Only (JEO) in the entries, please note that this information may become public should you win.
This information is used by our content and marketing team to help with elements such as winner bios, post-event communications and development of the Book of the Night.
