Beginning a career in standup comedy in 2009, Rob Beckett wasted no time in catching the critic's eye, winning four new comedian competitions within his first year, that saw him take runner-up in 'So You Think You're Funny' and winning the 'Amused Moose Laugh Off' award; he debuted the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2012 with his show ‘Rob Beckett's Summer Holiday’.
Beckett is now well known for being captain on the Channel 4 show ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’, and his ‘cheeky chappy’ persona has earned him a warm seat at more than just a few other prime-time gigs, including BBC2’s 'Mock The Week', 'Would I Lie To You' and 'ITV’s Play To The Whistle'.
Currently touring his standup show 'Mouth of the South', Beckett’s a comic by heart and trade, and with shows at The Apollo and Royal Variety Performance under his belt, he's well equipped to work the room come the evening of April 25.
“We see The Performance Marketing Awards as the most important evening in the awards calendar and as a result continue to support the event. Aside from the high level of care and attention the team give us they also ensure that the night is perfectly executed and an enjoyable environment within which to host our clients.”Sam Behar, Client Services Director, Crave & Lamb
