Akama Ediomi-Davies is Head of Brand Performance and Global Lead for Multicultural ERG United at Oath, the huge digital house of media brands formed in June this year including Yahoo, AOL, Microsoft (ads), TechCrunch, Brightroll, Gemini and One by AOL.
Ediomi-Davies is responsible for product and go-to-market strategy of Oath’s performance marketing division. He has rapidly risen up the ranks since he joining AOL in late 2013 as has been promoted over three times to his current role as Head of Brand Performance in April 2017.
Moreover, Ediomi-Davies has shown industry leadership. He co-founded Stripes an organisation whose mission is to create opportunities for people from BAME backgrounds, across the media industry. He has offered career mentoring, workshops and placements to youth development organisations and universities including his alma mater, Queen Mary University of London. This month Akama won the Rising Star Media Week Media Owner and was listed in The Dots 100 Black Creatives Inspiring Change In the Industry.
